Details:
All shared cPanel hosting accounts are now backed up four times daily by R1Soft's CDP (Continuous Data Protection) software.
R1Soft allows us to keep incremental backups of your data and makes restoring from any of these "snapshots" a breeze. All customers will notice an R1Soft icon in cPanel as well.. accidentally delete something? You can now restore it on your own. We store incremental backups as far back as two months.
In addition to that, these backups allow us to do bare metal restores. Should there be a server hardware failure we can restore the entire operating system, and all user data at the same time directly from our backup server.
